To detect unauthorized movement or device handling, the app uses onboard motion sensors (such as accelerometers, proximity and light). These features operate entirely on-device and do not collect or transmit any personally identifiable information.


3. Charger Connection Status (Charger Disconnect Alert)


This feature monitors whether your device is connected to or disconnected from a power source. The app does not collect any charging behavior data and does not transmit this information off the device.


4. Foreground Service Usage (Background Protection Features)


To ensure that core features like motion alerts, clap detection, and charger monitoring work reliably while the app is in the background, a foreground service is used.


This service displays a persistent system notification, as required by Android.


The notification lets you know that protective features are active.


No personal data is accessed, stored, or transmitted by this service.


You can stop the service at any time by disabling the relevant features in the app.


5. General Device Information


To ensure proper functionality, security, and performance diagnostics, the app may collect limited technical data, such as:

  • Device model and operating system version
  • App version
  • Error logs or crash reports (only if you opt in to share such data)

This data is anonymized and used solely to maintain and improve the app’s reliability.
